Dwell exists because we love art and want to showcase interesting and thought provoking art by National and International Artists. We represent a multitude of talented artists and craftspeople specializing in painting in oils, water color, tempera, collage, pastel, acrylic and mixed media as well as drawings, photography, metal and stone sculpture, ceramics, glass and woodwork.

A plethora of artistic styles are represented including abstract, representational, traditional, impressionistic and still life, so there is always something to suit most people.

We think that art enhances lives in many ways and that it should be accessible to as many people as possible.  That is why we offer up interest free payment plans, layaway and rent/rent to buy options so that starting a fine art collection is open to everyone.

We don't take ourselves too seriously either. Art should be enjoyed, above all else, so why be so uptight about it. To prove a point (or maybe just to make more space) we created a Powder Room gallery in our bathroom so now you can view while you loo too!

Our Main Gallery and Powder Room Gallery host exhibits every 6 to 8 weeks. The final exhibit of the year will be a group show representing the work of all of our artists and is a must for holiday shopping, gift giving or just a visual treat.

In addition to our permanent location we also host pop ups in the DC Metro Area.
